Meet this month’s Farmer Spotlight, Landrum Weathers. Weathers is a proud 4th generation farmer born and raised in Bowman, SC. After graduating with a degree in Agriculture Mechanization and Business from Clemson University, he returned home to work on the family farm where they grow peanuts, soybeans, corn, cotton, and wheat. Landrum currently serves as President of the Orangeburg County Farm Bureau and is a member of Clemson’s College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Life Sciences Alumni Board. In his spare time, Landrum enjoys attending Clemson football games, playing golf, hunting, and spending time with his wife (Ali) and 2 year old son (Ren).
