CERTIFIED SC RECIPE OF THE WEEK: SPICED MASHED SWEET POTATOES

- 6 sweet potatoes
- 1 Tbsp cumin
- 1 Tbsp cinnamon
- 1/4 C milk (I recommend 2% or whole — a dairy substitute will also work if unflavored)
- Peel and boil the sweet potatoes until tender (cut them into smaller pieces to make them cook more quickly), then drain and place in a bowl.
- Mash until desired consistency is reached.
- Add in cinnamon, cumin, and milk.
- Mix and serve warm!
