• 1 ¼ pound of Certified SC beef
  • ¾ cup of Certified SC crumbled blue cheese
  • 4 slices bacon cooked
  • salt and pepper to taste the fresh Certified SC spinach leaves
  • 4 whole wheat buns
  • 1 Certified SC jar of Sallie’s Greatest Blueberry + Lavender Jam
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce


  1. Mix hamburger meat with crumbled blue cheese and add salt and pepper to taste
  2. Divide into 4 equal mounds and shape into a 4” diameter patty
  3. Cook bacon for 8-10 minutes until crisp
  4. In a heavy nonstick pan grill hamburger patty for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are cooked to medium-rare (or fully cooked)
  5. Top with blue cheese slice
  6. Lightly toast buns cut side up for 1-2 minutes or until lightly toasted
  7. Mix Sallie’s Greatest Blueberry + Lavender Jam and hot sauce together
  8. Put thick layer of Blueberry + Lavender Ketchup on bottom part of bun
  9. Top with burger/blue cheese, bacon slices torn in half, spinach leaves. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on top bun and assemble burger
  10. Serve and enjoy!
